    republicans are in the process of dismantling the entire democratic system of checks and balances. don’t ever let anyone tell you both sides are the same.

      ??? This article had nothing to do with “moderates failing at government”

      It was an analysis of government management methods independent of political ideology. It showed that training low level managers improves performance more than sweeping changes which have a temporary boost at the cost of long term failure.

        Government management methods are very much a practice of political ideology. The article directly links the political ideologies to the shift from improving processes to grandstanding.

    Enshittification has been a thing in all branches of economy in the last 20 years or so.

    It is partially by the utter devoidance of meaning in practically anything that we do. Open a new company? To make money of course, not because it will lead to long-term improvements for the people.

    That is, btw, why the US lost the solar race to China.
