In the old days, I would just take a picutre, copy it, and ctrl + v it where URL went, and, voila! I have my meme ready to be titled and posted…

Really - so we got to geet an imgur URL and it will then just appear here if we throw it up in the URL?
Worked fine here. There are a couple people flagging the images on Imgur though so if the image isnt commie friendly use other hosters. .
imgchest.com also works.
Just open the inage in a new tab, copy that link (has cdn in the url name) and use that. It will show directly on apps and the site.

I just created an account and tried to upload an avatar and banner and I get an error code.
I never had this issue but I certainly hope it is addressed soon
be patient a bit because the Fediverse is held together by the volunteered time of people like our admin here Kapow – they keep it free and grassroots and that means we have to pay them back with patience & understanding.
