Not a fan. He is right about some things but he chases clout and I fear that is why he says the things he says - to suck in some conservative, younger viewers part of the red pill trend.
But I cannot judge him and hope that he becomes a real, authentic Christian.

The Fediverse needs to be built by people committed to free speech - if it isn’t, it’ll be unremarkable. If it’s unremarkable, why bother?

But my gut tells me that you can’t really be hurt by this if you have a throwaway email.
it could even be treated like a sort of human rights issue - you just have the right to share content from websites via links, and whatever stupid laws about how you owe us money now…! are invalid.
It’s also so weird because there are these laws in place that allow us to cite portions of things without having to pay for anything. I think it’s even up to something like 25% of a publication that can be republished just for the purpose of citing it or criticizing it…
Wild that at this point you just won’t be able to share links.
I just want there to be more people; more discussion; more disagreement. More is always better.

be patient a bit because the Fediverse is held together by the volunteered time of people like our admin here Kapow – they keep it free and grassroots and that means we have to pay them back with patience & understanding.

Individual black people during the last ten years have expanded my mind, and one of those persons is pro-BLM, so credit where credit is due…
But, for me, I think Kanye West (!!!) did a good job convincing a lot of whites about the worthiness of hearing about black trauma, and at the same time expanded the minds of some black people toward understanding why there are whites not on board or trying to understand some white perspectives about this.
That sounds very contentious but that’s how I see it.
Right. And that is why I kind of feel bad about both incidents. I don’t actually look at either things with any frequency but it just sort of popped up and I had to keep watching the train wreck.
The channel I have watched a heck of a lot on a single theme and thus should probably say is my favorite is Sensus Fidelium but actually I am not even Catholic… It’s just Fr. Chad Ripperger and some of these other homilies have really been on point, and Orthodox YouTube channels just don’t put out on that volume (perhaps a few channels do but those are ones not worth watching_.
That Chapter is probably what I would say is my favorite for a guy working on a single, somewhat narrow theme… It’s a channel hosted by a humble guy named Mike that tells True Crime stories.
Fox News, though, is probably what I’ve watched the most of.
