It throws me a curveball: Ecclesiastical - [tʃe.lɔ.'dʒi.nɛ] regional (Portuguese speakers) - [se.lo.'ʒi.ne]~[se.lo.'ʒi.ni] her pronunciation - [se.lo.'dʒi.ne] Then I spend a few seconds thinking “selodine… no, that’s not right” because the local dialect parses [dʒi] as /di/. At least I don’t have this problem with the Paphiopedilum. She simply calls them “sapatinho” (little shoe).
