Do they honestly think their influence remains the moment they’re told to get their troops off the fucking continent and every country pulls a Norway and stops refueling their ships?
I suspect that they honestly think that they can bully the world into allowing us to keep our troops wherever we like. While I’m sure that will work for some weaker-willed countries, I fully believe that the rest will tell us to sit and spin.
