    I’m not “a commie”, but the way I understand it is that the kinds of “commies” that Russia … say they are … are not communists at all.

      There are certainly many members of the Russian Federation’s Communist Party who aren’t real communists, so there is that. If they meant the USSR, they can go fuck themselves, of course, but they were speaking in the present tense so they probably meant the RF.
