I think it would be a helpful feature to have the text of a post or comment be brought into Google Translate. If you could click on the … symbol/long press options for a post or comment and had one of the top option be translate which opens the text of the post title or comment in Google Translate, within the app. BlueSky has a feature like this why I find helpful, and I believe Apollo had a feature like this back in the day. It would be handy to have this as a feature to help improve engagement and breakdown communication barriers.

      I was not aware of this, thank you for sharing! I agree having a non-Google connected option would be better.

      I hope this takes off. Unfortunately for now, the number of supported languages it rather limited.

    This is something I’ve wanted to do. I have some ideas. Unfortunately it would just operate per comment, not the entire thread.

    When i hit the share button under your post text in voyager i can share it to the google translate app and from there i can translate your post.

    It opens the whole web view https://discuss.tchncs.de/post/33567905 though.
