Enough is enough. President Donald Trump has openly violated the law by defying a direct order from the United States Supreme Court. This isnāt debatableāit is a blatant and unprecedented attack on our Constitution.
Kilmar Abrego GarcĆa, a Maryland resident legally protected from deportation due to credible fears of persecution, was wrongly deported by Trumpās administration to El Salvador. GarcĆa was immediately imprisoned in an infamous Salvadoran prison notorious for torture and human rights abuses. When the Supreme Court unanimously demanded Trump return GarcĆa to the United States immediately, Trump flatly refused.
This act isnāt just unconstitutionalāitās criminal contempt. Trump has declared himself above the law, dangerously undermining the judiciary, the Constitution, and American democracy itself. If the Supreme Court does not act decisively, we risk permanently eroding the checks and balances that protect every American citizen from authoritarian abuse.
We must demand immediate action:
- Supreme Court: Immediately issue a charge of contempt against President Trump.
- Congress: Enforce this ruling vigorously and uphold constitutional accountability.
- Citizens: Protest, call your representatives, and refuse to tolerate executive tyranny.
This isnāt partisan politics; itās about defending democracy from authoritarianism.

By all means, be angry about this, but nobody will be held in contempt over this. The SC deliberately phrased it āfacilitateā his return as a weasel word instead of āeffectuateā like the lower court stated, to give them room to wiggle out of actually bringing him back without putting themselves in the position of having to do anything about it.
They canāt rule that they HAVE to get him back because heās in a different country. What language the lower court uses is irrelevant.

The Supreme Court didnāt rule that trump return him to the USA immediately, that is a lie.
They ruled that they have to do their best to facilitate the transfer of him back to the USA, which they say they are doing.
