I think the reference is to the ‘world news’ community on Lemmy. So Lemmy ‘world news’, rather than ‘Lemmy world’ news.
That said, I don’t think lemmy.world is Marxist, still, although it seems to have some comrades and we get some good faith discussion with them.
At the moment, I think Lemmygrad is the only explicitly Marxist instance, and mainly Marxist-Leninist at that. Other instances tend to be more broad church/liberal, although some are outright and unapologetically reactionary.
