His movies are usually a satire/parody of certain genres, and Pulp Fiction is definitely an homage to the crime/mobster movies of the 80’s.

I’ve been burned so many times by thinking “oh, it was recent,” then I guess that the new grinch movie came out in 2014. I tried to make that a real guess, then I looked it up, and apparently there was another one in 2018, but rest assured, I meant the one from 2000 (?!)
