    I aspire to be the “cool uncle” but am probably the “guy that doesn’t belong”. (especially since there were a couple people in this meme I didn’t recognize…)

        which squares didn’t I recognize? iirc my exact train of thought was:

        1. is that Robert Smith? he looks too young tho!
        2. That’s the guy who was in Hardware … I know he’s the singer in a band but I don’t remember his name or the band name…
        3. I think that’s Peter Murphy… with a beard? did he ever have a beard?
        4. oh Morrisey… I heard you said some bad things… you always were pretentious, but did you have to go there?
        5. Exterminating Angel is her best song, change my mind.
        6. No idea. (I had to look it up by image… Christian Death was never a fave of mine fwiw…)
        7. My current best dance move involves moving like Ian Curtis with the arms, and like Jackie Chan in the Drunken Master movies everywhere else.
        8. Embarassed to say I recognize him. I’ma pretend I don’t. Well he did used to hang out with Trent Reznor tho…

          Oh, I thought 9 was Nick Cave?

          To be fair tho, I wouldn’t recognise Eldritch without his sunglasses. I only really know what he looks like from a handful of music videos.

          2. I think it’s how he looks now when he is older? Text on the square is about a recent drama when he was throwing bottle at people on the bar because they aren’t paying attention to the performance.

          3. I don’t like modern CD but I like first 2 albums. With what they play today after Rozz’s death they shouldn’t even have kept the name.
