E-ink monitors exist. The only issue i could see with trying to combine them is the size difference. What good ereaders can plug into a computer and act as a second monitor?

Onyx Boox Max can do it. It’s 13" screen size. I’ve no personal experience with it, though.

Watching this thread. I’ve always had issues setting up a second, vertical monitor to read from - the glare is bad no matter how “matte” the monitor supposedly is, privacy screens make it too dim, 1080p still doesn’t seem to be enough pixels to me in that orientation(your guess is as good as mine as to why), and as much as I read for enjoyment on my phone, I still prefer paper or “paper” wherever I have a choice or have to deal with pagination(textbooks or serious refference materials).

All that, and I prefer to set such up the same distance from my eyes as the main monitor. Print works for me like so, but most eReaders are jarringly small next to a decent-sized monitor.
