Sure, I did it for spending money, not because I had to. Then I moved out and away, lost all my connections and resume-filler as such. Ended up homeless a few times in my twenties. Employers and National Guard never gave a fuck so long as I showed up.

My family of 6 is exceptionally well-off on a little more than that, and I could retire overseas tomorrow if I could convince them to join me.
