I just started this journey: Home Assistant!! It’s been a while since I wanted to try and automate some little things around my house, so I just got my RaspberryPi, flashed Home Assistant OS, and was blown away by it automatically detecting my TV, connecting my Vacuum robot, and even my wife’s toothbrush.

I am definitely sold, bought a couple sensors already, it’s gonna be a fun few months slowly automating the house. Zigbee stuff is also pretty cheap, and hopefully the Matter revolution will make home automation a breeze.
