It’s basically been correct in part since we settled into cities and started farming.
We’ve lost a lot of really nice things along the way, for the most parts it’s been fine since stuff like electricity and modern medicine really make up for a lot, but we would absolutely be better off if we looked at the past and brought back things like spending more time in nature and not designing cities so you need a car to buy bread.
At some point though, isn’t it likely that it’s going to be a correct statement?
Older times probably were better… for some people. But if you’re used to being on top, equality feels like oppression.
