From what I have read/heard, the Rapturetm or “End Times” will start because of/in the Jewish nation of Israel, they are waiting for the end of the world and the Jews are the key to it. If you want some reading just look up “Israel rapture” or “Israel end times”
They want Jewish people to have a state so they can go away. Also the whole “needs to have all Jewish people in Israel to herald the apocalypse and ascension” or some nonsense.
Maintaining israel’s power in the middle east keeps the west easy access to all of that oil and resources in the region. Bonus points, it keeps all them ‘jews’ in one spot out of the way. Even hitler supported the existence of israel.
