Trumpers had massive efforts in trying to have ballots challenged and rejected, particularly for signatures not perfectly matching on the ballot vs a driver’s license on the absentee/mail in ballots. I ran into some pretty fucked up stories when I worked in Alabama for several years. Outside of Birmingham I’d hear stories from black voters about limited polling places, that were super far away, were hard to hit up during work hours, and had good ‘ol boys intimidating anyone that wasn’t white.
And if folks did tough it out, they were gerrymandering to high hell, so the vote was designed to go nowhere.
