Not content with being overshadowed by Tidelines, Skippinish have another schism this week which will undoubtedly lead to another folk-pop group. And I for one am here for it! Love them both, and there’s plenty of room in Scotland’s music scene for another. Will be funny to see who they manage to scrounge together for Hoolie in a few weeks mind!

Wow, the headline is quite underselling how messy it seems to be. A shame, but I’ll be interested to see what all of them do going forward. I never got into Tidelines much, but I’m a big fan of Skipinnish and Mànran so there’s a decent chance I’ll like whatever MacIver does next
