wtf is a unit of marijuana? Without a department of education, have you guys forgotten how to measure things?
Almost certainly 1/8th of an ounce. That’s the quantity and price that its sold near me in MN.
Seriously?! An 1/8th of an ounce is $32 USD?!?! I didn’t even know people measured in 1/8th oz. I get grams of you want something small but then I thought we skipped right to quarters.
That’s what 1/4 goes for here. My local shop down the street sells an 1/8th for $20 CAD. You guys are getting fucking hosed
Recreational sale only started late october. Id expect prices to go down over time. 32 for an eighth is still better than the 55 an eighth that the native tribes have been selling for since it was legalized in 2022.
*specific to MN
Seriously?! An 1/8th of an ounce is $32 USD?!?
It greatly depends on quality.
Primo shit is $30-60.
Mids are around $20.
Outdoor/schwag can be as low as $5 an 8th.
I never spend more than $10 for a 1/4, myself. But I also am in California, so maybe NY just sucks. 🤷♂️
On the street, a dub (1/8th of an ounce; 3.5 grams) used to be $20.
I can only assume this refers to the average price of retail, prepackaged units of things like bags of gummies or individually packaged vapes. I’ve never bought from a dispensary directly but my understanding is that they still sell by the gram, so idk what the fuck else it could refer to.
Yeah, here’s last year’s market report, relevant content starting at page 17, “Product Market Share and Pricing”

At least where I am they like to standardize on selling eigths or quarters as the main sizes you can buy for flower. It doesn’t always hold true, but it does seem to be the standard most companies try to accommodate and it makes sense.
It just carries on traditions of the past. Yeah. OP sounds like they are new to drugs.
Lol. I’m just not from the US. You guys are getting raked on all forms of healthcare eh?
I was just talking about how before weed was legal, it was measured in ways that the legal industry just kept using.
