I come from apple-land (don’t shoot, I love FOSS!). Just wanted to say I’ve been happy with their native password manager, especially since they added Advanced Data Protection (E2EE on almost all data types in iCloud). Everything is held behind a private key and/or social recovery, the latter of which brings the technical barrier within reach of the average user.
If anyone knows of reasons not to trust E2EE iCloud I’d be grateful to hear them.
My opinion is that they are a godsend, and it baffles me why neither Apple nor Google have a proper client for this…
Thankfully Bitwarden exists.
I wouldn’t trust either of them with my passwords.
Yeah but they already have some tools for that, why not do a good job with what they have already lol.
