https://archive.ph/qUe7n Silver’s price blew through a 45-year-old record and has more than doubled in 2025. At $76.486, a troy ounce of silver is worth more than a barrel of oil in futures markets, where U.S. crude ended Friday at $56.74.
Stacking shiny stuff has been the only decent bet I’ve made in the last 10 years
Very interesting, makes a lot of sense. Thanks for that
So that means gas prices are going down right?
Gas is below $2 gallon near me, it’s been years since I’ve seen it that low. Low gas prices tend to happen during recessions due to lowered demand.
Rural area?
Drove from NC to TX for the holidays. Cheapest fill was 2.18. I saw a loyalty program selling it for 1.89 which was crazy.
Is that for a gallon? Laughs in 1.7…Euro/L (7.5$/gal)
I’ll bet this is purposeful because of the Venezuela stuff. Cheap gas buys war votes.
I think a relative said they were getting ridiculously cheap $1.60 gas from walmart for some usaa benefit. It’s definitely a little nutso.
It means the price of everything consumers spend money on is going up.
Does the cost of a barrel of oil include the cost of the barrel itself?
Nope, doesn’t include shipping either, rip off
is the silver in gold-pressed silver.
