Not exactly an uncommon bird, but a hard one to photograph because they only want to scavenge on the ground and they’re wary of humans. Still a cool sighting and it looks cool perched on that tree.

They are pretty great. It’s so therapeutic watching and photographing them. Something positive in these trying times.
Got a bunch of these little guys living in some well protected evergreens in our yard, love to watch them hop around, take dirt baths, get into skirmishes. Nice picture!
