Florida Statute 828.12 defines cruelty to animals as “a person who unnecessarily overloads, overdrives, torments, deprives of necessary sustenance or shelter, or unnecessarily mutilates, or kills any animal.”
Right, but this doesn’t apply to Tyson Foods or anyone important, in fact it only counts if you aren’t a card carrying representative of a Certified Animal Rights Infringement and Neglect Group, or CARING for short.
Well, you can support putting people up to the wall for cruelty against opossums and against chickens. The state of Florida doesn’t show that amount of consistency on animal rights, but i absolutely do.
Don’t get me wrong, this guy deserves it, I just find it very interesting how animal abuse is so ingrained in our society that they wrote this definition and it didn’t even occur to them that it basically criminalizes the most fundamental parts of the culture of this country.
He should get the death penalty
we need to make a ross launcher just for him
Your appeal on the grounds of the Eighth Amendment has been rejected. While the court agrees that the trebuchet is unusual, there is unanimous agreement that it is not cruel enough, considering the circumstances.
I met 2 separate Kiwi people who think it’s ok to kill possums in fucked up ways because they’re an invasive species in New Zealand.
I was like “yeah be that as it may, I think there might be more humane options than shooting fireworks at them on Guy Fawkes Day” and they looked at me weird.
Then again, it’s a country that went insane over chocolate milk so maybe they’re just weird.
When did we go insane over chocolate milk? Huh? I love chocolate milk
Lewis Road Creamery Chocolate Milk when it first debuted
Wait are you saying insane as in overly positive or overly negative?
There was a black market of people selling it for $30 NZD in the South Island because it turns out a bespoke creamery only prodces 3000 bottles a batch and they didn’t even have distribution centers in the south. There were black markets on TradeMe and also stores in the north implemented a 2 bottles per customer limit.
Haha yeah that sounds about right
Of course it’s Florida
Aw man I liked Freeman’s mind
