Being white never really shielded anyone, it just gave an additional layer of protection that not being white didn’t have, but white communists were always considered expendable in the cause of fascism. If anything they hate “rassenschande” (race traitorism) more, because they don’t fall in line, and give other whites hope of other options than fascism.
It’s like how a WWI helmet would save you from shrapnel but not a bullet.
