I mean, she telegraphed that this was going to happen for the last week. Once she realized that her dreams of being the president of Venezuela hinged on the decision of a 79-year-old, addlepated toddler, she’s been scheming about how to dangle that shiny little peace prize in front of him to get what she wants. It says a lot about her character that she’d be willing to be installed as “president” by a hostile foreign power.

It really doesn’t though, they didn’t topple the government they solidified it against us meddling. They could have bought their way into the country but playing GI Joe is some sociopathic necessity for them.

What’s the point of the peace prize if it’s going to handed to people in ongoing conflicts?

I think the prize should be abolished. Unlike scientific contributions, peace is hard to quantify.

She’s may be from Venezuela, but don’t give her a false sense of legitimacy by calling her ‘Venezuela’s Machado’.
