    This wasn’t a police problem (though it sounds like the cop was indeed a problem) so much as a judge problem. That trial was completely unfair.

      By the article the cops were lying about events, beating a guy, and planting a gun on him. Sure sounds like it’s also a cop problem.

        Like I said, the cop was indeed a problem, but even if the cop was an absolute saint and made a good faith but mistaken arrest, this guy was going to get convicted and given a crazy harsh sentence anyway because of the judge’s bias. There aren’t many things more dangerous than a biased cop, but a biased judge is most definitely up there
