    Better than paying Microsoft to run windows. I will never understand systems that run a full operating system for something like a slideshow kiosk.

      Yeah, definitely. This device does have a few features (the circular light at the bottom is where you can scan a QR code), but I still suspect this could have been implemented without a full operating system.
