    Metal Gear Solid : V

The Fox engine was another kind of black magic

For real, I feel like the konami drama kind of overshadowed this aspect. Yes it’s a shame metal gear died, but kojima isn’t dead and still gets to make games. But the fox engine? That’s the true tragedy.

Konami fired Kojima because MGSV was apparently way over budget and way too late. Many people say MGSV is unfinished. Afterwards Konami released some weird survival battle royale type abomination using the Fox engine called Metal Gear Survive which I think they took down a year later, and that was it.

Or did I just get metal gear’d

I personally think it still stands as a beautiful game, the art style especially has aged quite well

The Trine series is really pretty and even the newest entry has relatively modest hardware requirements.

ut’99 baby. full game with healthy stack of mods would be maybe a gig or two. would look and play well on most types of computational vegetation. ok, yeah UT2004 would also look nice and play in most potatoes.

i listed more but then I looked and it showed my age so I deleted them and focused on unreal ya whippersnappers.
