Garak probably has a bomb hidden behind Shran, but is waiting to see what he does
Yeah that tracks
Spy v Spy, Star Trek’in edition.
The guns have been sabotaged to explode when fired.
Garak: “There’s hope for you yet”
Someone should make a panel of Garak’s explanation of “The boy who cried wolf”. In which he explains meaning of the parable to Bashir that’s it’s not about “some one lying to much” but that “one should not say the same lie twice”
Which Schran did not do because the other weapon is a rifle.
Very important to put some spin on that directed energy.
If you think about it we should really call them laser smooth bores
The actual moral of the boy who cried wolf is: sometimes, there are wolves.
My two favorite characters. I’m so sad Enterprise was going to make Shran a regular character, but didn’t get to
I could do a while series with Shran and his people. Especially those hot blue ice ladies with skimpy clothes and antennae.
Is that a Red Dwarf reference (or maybe Red Dwarf is referencecing something else)? https://youtu.be/GQlaRpdWIGM
The only reason I miss Facebook is the guy in one of the star trek groups who made these. They’re all gold.
Garak is calm because he knows that they’re in the justice zone, where it’s impossible to commit a crime.
Shran: “I have diplomatic immunity.”
fires pistol
it harmlessly bounces off of Garek
Garek: “So do I.”
Garak only needs one.
TBH, nobody really needs more than one. If two guns improves your chances, you just need to work on your aim.
If there’s one thing modern warfare has taught anyone paying attention it’s that people have shit aim under stress.
Two lies with a truth between them is the most insidious design.
Wish we had this chance encounter somewhere in the series
They lived centuries apart.
When has that ever stopped them?
Folks need to check out Red Dwarf (British sci-fi comedy).
