Lucy stands looking at a rocking-horse. She exclaims, “A rocking-horse!” Charlie Brown points to it and says, “Go ahead, and ride it if you want to, Lucy”

She sits on it and he asks, “Where are you headed? To the north pole or Banbury Cross?”

She starts rocking and replies, “To the kitchen!” He exclaims, “The Kitchen?! Don’t be silly, Lucy…”

He sits on the chair and puts his feet up on a foot-stool. She looks at him as he concludes, “You can’t ride a rocking-horse out to the kitchen!”
