Relatable. My default resting eyes always seem bored or angry. I instinctively raise my eyebrows for photos, which makes me look aggressively locked in. Having said that, your “psychopath eyes” still look quite sweet and approachable, so maybe I’m being too self critical and so are you.

Something I tell people I work with in my photography all the time is that posing is really hard and kind of unnatural looking if you don’t know what you’re doing. Meanwhile your motion is always going to look natural because you only know how to move naturally.
The same is true for facial expressions. If you’re bothered by how your expression looks in photos, try taking the shot as you make the expression or record a video of yourself going from looking away to at the camera and smiling. Then you can go through the frames and pick out a more natural looking shot.
You don’t look like a psychopath in this photo, but it is an intense gaze. Maybe you’re trying a little too hard to hold the gaze and your smile, it happens to everyone.

I guess it depends on your setup. I was assuming this was a phone photo. Which you could just do on it’s photo app. I personally would do it through Lightworks on my pc if I used my main camera like that, but my main camera has a burst function for that kinda thing. So it’ll take like 10 shots every time I press the shutter button.
Most modern cameras also have a storage media over usb function. So if you have a usb-c to usb-c, you could plug the camera right into your phone to import the video and go through the frames. If you do that though, you may lose some of the resolution depending on the camera and the phone. It’ll be a social media worthy picture, but maybe not full resolution.
Edit: Also I do think it’s a good shot, well framed and a warm expression on a cool colored background. I was just trying to approach the “psycho eyes” thing that I’ve heard lots of people struggle with.
