This is a good time. Israel is a little distracted, having started a war with two countries.

I’m really scared about this one, ngl. If the last one was dangerous this one’s gonna be a straight up suicide mission. There’s a good chance that, if this time the entity just murders everyone somewhere in the eastern Mediterranean, European countries are barely even gonna acknowledge it.

There’s a lot more institutional resistance from origin countries too. Last time the port of Tunis was the main gathering point for the bulk of the flotilla, but Tunisian authorities got really spooked by Israel’s drone attacks in their waters last time so now they’re cracking down on the flotilla well in advance. They already violently raided and arrested a bunch of organizers that were already in Tunis, some of them needed to be hospitalized. Port authorities in Italy are threatening to block ships from leaving from there too. Idk how France is doing and I imagine Spain would be less oppositional, but still.

And there isn’t as much support by unions around Europe cause momentum faded a bit and attention shifted. Shit’s grim.
