Apparently you can also force your chosen image on other people’s devices when you call them.
My ex-wife’s contact keeps updating itself to a “glamour shot” she took of herself. Not really something I want to see. I just deleted her email address from her contact card in my phone and then deleted the picture. No issues since.
I thought that was already a thing, too, though. I’ve had contacts with pictures that I never set for them for quite a while now.
I don’t see that being abused with dick pics or other NSFW images
Google will just run AI to remove objectionable pictures from calling card.
Why you would call a feature that has been around for… oh I don’t know 13–14 years, fantastic?
