I’m (m) a refuge year from Reddit Isn‘t this one of those rare corners of the internet where everyone behaves a bit peevish and finds themselves in a slightly naughty or needy mood?
Curious to hear your thoughts and what you have to offer. Btw. How is the mix here?

    If you’re unaware, here’s some context of why adult content seems quite lacking here just now…

    LemmyNSFW was where the overwhelming majority of NSFW content ended up being posted in the Fediverse but, due to various reasons, that instance went down. Someone has very recently (weeks, not months) put in a lot of effort to bring up FediNSFW (using PieFed instead of Lemmy) and made the LemmyNSFW archive available as read only here as well. (The downside an absence of good mobile apps that support both Lemmy and PieFed? So for most it will mean web or another app).

    My point is that it has been a lot better than it currently seems, there’s plenty of room for growth here but there’s a struggle getting the previous users aware of it and get more people posting. As someone else said, Reddit is a lot more active. But this is worth persevering with, I think. YMMV.

      @nickterw@fedinsfw.app We had a really fun, active “ask lemmy nsfw” community (which is what this one is now) and a subreddit for “celebritiy economy games” which i found fun and interesting. The mod who did most of that last sub stepped away a week or so before LemmyNSFW disappeared.

      There are people who make horny memes on the normal fediverse instances and are henerally sex-positive; if you’re a reddit refugee I’d recommend making an account to browse on a non-porny instance. Hope you enjoy the fediverse!

    The federated horny world is not nearly as active as Reddit NSFW communities. Going to be mostly straight/bi dudes and fairly conventional stuff.
