The buildings are really clean and nature is everywhere and the parks are beautiful and the food is great.
The buildings are weirdly clean, like I can’t understand how the buildings and the vehicles are all so clean here. It looks like all the buildings were painted yesterday and all of the cars just went through a wash.
Did you take the train to get there?
Came here for this.
no, flew into gimhae. Although now that I’m here, I would like to take a train ride.

oh. This is a very train-centric country, and there are many daily trains coming into Busan.
But that is a fun movie.
Ironically, I’ve not actually seen the movie.
Just know about it, is it worth a watch?
If you like zombies, then definitely.
Even if you don’t like zombies, that film is straight-up art. 🤩
My favourite city in South Korea.
If you haven’t already, there is a really nice coastal walk from the Oryukdo skywalk, to the Baengnyeonsa Temple with great views back to Haeundae beach. I also recommend orienting yourself to the cities geography from Hwangnyeongsan Mountain observatory. Really cool at sunset. You’re right too, there is so much excellent food in Busan!
Busan is good.
I’ve been to seoul a few times, which never made an impression, but I’m really liking Busan.
When I realized the city motto was “Busan is good” I thought that was such a funny, direct slogan, but they nailed it.
So far, I’m liking everything.
I like mountains and sea and city, it’s a really cool combination. My only complaint is that I would say it’s not very walkable between districts.
I’ve read that, but I’m not sure exactly what people mean. Busan is comfortably walkable. Maybe just Haeundae, separated from the other dozen connected districts?
oh, maybe because it’s big? Not difficult to walk, but longer to walk.
Exactly that, it’s fine walking around any individual neighbourhood but the neighbourhoods are separate by quite a lot of distance.
got it. you have any favorites other than those you mentioned up top? The public transport here is really wowing me.
