Basically:

• shift your circadian rhythm
• expose yourself to bright light before/during your shift (an article mentioned 4 hours were done in their study resulting an increase in alertness).
• shades during the day when you’re done with work
• darken your room or wear a sleep mask
• lower core body temp for better sleep
