I am used to the Succession Wars era, but am coming around to the Clan Invasion era. Based simply on the insignia and the basic summary I lean towards Diamond Sharks, but if I am to adopt a clan as a faction, what does everyone suggest as the best and why?

I am a succession warrior too. I like Ghost Bear, because they are more reasonable than most of the clans and have a focus on family. After Tukkayid they sneakily move their whole population to their Inner Sphere occupation zone (around Rassalhage) in gigantic warships. In the IlClan era, they change from just having a Khan and SaKhan to adding a civilian Khan to represent the non-warrior population. (See the Dominion Divided sourcebook)

In all seriousness, I’m a big fan of Ghost Bear. They have a cool backstory, they care for their people (IS or Clan), and learn from their mistakes. Better than returning to the Clan Cluster and sulking like the Green Turkeys.
