Right before Christmas Eve, you mean? At least in Norway it’s shown on lille julaften, December 23rd.
On German TV, Dinner for One runs on December 31st only, (almost) exclusively on public broadcast stations.
There have been attempts creating German localised alternatives but the original is still the most viewed.
That’s only you guys, you’re weird like that. It’s like your copy of the Olsen Gang, you gotta be a little bit different.
