Preparing to fight tooth and nail, impress the almighty Taskmaster, and bag the highest points are: comedian, writer, and presenter Joanne McNally (My Therapist Ghosted Me), Edinburgh Comedy Award winning comedian and radio presenter John Robins (BBC Radio 5 Live), award winning actor and comedian Nick Mohammed (Ted Lasso), BAFTA winning comedian, writer, and actor Sophie Willan (Alma’s Not Normal), award winning writer, actor and comedian Steve Pemberton (Inside No. 9).

Who will emerge victorious, raise the trophy above their head, and call themselves a Taskmaster champion?

      I’m English (living in the USA for 8 years) and I only know Pemberton. I’m sure I’ll love them all by the end. :-)

      Suffice to say, then, that Steve Pemberton has more comedy writing skill in his left arse-cheek than the entirety of Hollywood put together

      And Nick Mohammed only has one character and it’s Nick Mohammed

    US watcher. I recognize everyone. Nick Mohammed is most familiar since he was in The Martian and Ted Lasso, though I never loved when Mr Swallow would turn up on panel shows.

      Ah, that’s who he is. I recognised the name but didn’t get a good enough look at his face for the penny to drop.

      Based on some of the skills he’s demonstrated on Cats Does Countdown, he could be a real contender.
