I agree that there are progressives with twisted opinions about the conflict. If that’s what she was saying, maybe she shouldn’t paint with such a broad stroke. A non-inflammatory title would have been “Why are some feminists silent about rape and murder in the middle easy?” But that wouldn’t get the clicks. It significantly diminishes her whole point in my opinion

It doesn’t mean that all men are buying motorcycles, just that enough are to make it a noticeable trend.
You don’t need the word “some”. That’s the defaul. “All” is the special case that needs to be explicitly indicated.
I’d dislike that headline, too, but it’s not as awful as this one because it’s not painting men in a bad light
