    Now that everyone bought their copies of Oppenheimer, I see we’re back to the nearly 30-year-old format’s normal place in the top spot as it stubbornly and disappointingly refuses to die.

    It’s everyone calling it Dune: Part One now? Is this like when they tried to rename Edge of Tomorrow to Live. Die. Repeat. 😁

    EDIT: I suppose it differentiates it from the 1984 version.

      Well, there’s a chance it becomes a trilogy with Part 1, Part 2, and Messiah. Since that’s one complete story, it would be nice to see the story filmed in its entirety for the first time, since the message doesn’t really land until the second book.

      Lynch planned on filming Messiah as a sequel, but his movie bombed and now he basically disavows it. Whatever, I still like it.
