Clickbait title… But
I think this is a good idea; giving folks, by default, more control over what is going onto to their systems. Reduces the bloat and the ISO size is definitely useful in certain situations. Power of choice to the users!

OK thank you for the information!
But I can see my /u/ page on the website? So I’m very confused
As with BotW, I’ll be late to the game to try TotK, and I intend to continue the video/guide blackout as I did with the first game, until I’ve beaten the game fully to my satisfaction and am looking for what else there is to do in the game.
Quite simply, content can’t be trusted to give you a good experience. I hate to sound like an old man, but you gotta do it like in the old days and go in blind and just discover the game yourself and experience it organically.
In every game I’ve ever tried it in, as soon as I got into min/maxing it ruined it for me. Obviously that’s entirely subjective, but I think some gamers are really missing out in the hyper-competitiveness that the culture promotes these days. Just play the game man.
I love DS9 and this scene in particular is one of my favorites! Such a good show.
Gorgeous… Aaaaaand now I’m hungry
I did the neopets thing too! I remember having to ask the local library to acquire books that taught HTML and CSS so I could learn it!
Yeah I get you. And honestly so few games these days have an actual ending anyway. Open world, sandbox, ancillary objective, and multiplayer games have changed the way we look at games in general. I can’t remember the last time I “beat” a game. I mean maybe a few months ago when I finished the main storyline of No Man’s Sky, but did I really beat it? No, I just finished one of the many quests.
Super Mario 64 is a game you beat. Most games today, you just don’t.
I’ve used Relay for nearly 10 years, my entire time on Reddit. I’m sad to see things go this way and for the developer to play Reddit’s game. What a disappointment. I would love love LOVE if the same app infrastructure was focused on Lemmy/The Fediverse. It’s such a great app. What a shame to see it go this way.
HawkXero, same as this one.
Thank you so much for all your hard work!
Thank you so much for all the suggestions, I really appreciate it!
Still the same. Tried through Chrome and the Jerboa app.
I just tried and it’s still just spinning with the new login.
I’ve tried logging in and all I get is the spinny of doom on the login button after entering my credentials. I’ve also kept an eye on my email and spam folders as well.
Might just have to be patient and wait a couple more days I guess.
About 50 hours. My wife was pregnant with our daughter and things went south real quick. Ended up in emergency surgery and our daughter spending a week in NICU. My wife is still dealing with issues from the ordeal, but my daughter is 18 months old now and she is just an absolute treasure and sooo smart! We’re so thankful to have her in our lives.
So same protocol, different front end essentially?
Ah ok. Thanks for the info!
I’m new to all of this, can you explain the difference between Lemmy and Kbin? And why would Kbin get missed over initially?
1Password said they wanna do the same thing. It’s just so hard to believe that they’ll actually do it/be able to do it. Like can any company really be trusted?
