Also, the original X-Wing was one of my favorite games of all time. I didn’t like TIE Fighter as much because the Rebel ships were a bit too bullet-spongey. I preferred shooting the hard-to-hit but easy-to-kill TIE Fighters.

Never got around to playing the later sequels but maybe I should go back to them on GOG?

Dark Forces was one of the first FPSes to have true 3D not 2.5D. I remember specifically one mission where you had to climb on top of an elevator, and that felt awesome. Plus the way your blaster beams would bounce around the room!
