- Toma Terra is a stupid name
- Can’t we just eat some Catalan dishes if we want to experience Spanish culture?

The government did order ISPs to block thewire.in, bur Indians bring Indians, except for a few ISPs everyone was too slow to follow the order. It was even accessible from BSNL. And by now the government has already unblocked the website. So, all in all, it was nothing more than a massive farce in the end.

Is there no other game in this genre with good graphics. Even Indian side is using ARMA footage.

And if human society as a whole made a conscious effort, we can eliminate the need for money.

But isn't it high time that South Asia had an instance of its own on lemmy ?English2·7 days agoI do not know why you are getting downvoted, it is a great idea. But it is very hard. To run an instance 3 things are crucial, 1. Time, 2. Money and, 3. Expertise. You need money to buy/rent servers, expertise to run a server and time to manage an instance, like moderating, defederating with other harmful instances, communicating with admins from other instances etc. There are a few south area specific mastodon instances, there was one pixelfed instance, but never a lemmy/mbin/piefed instance, at least not any I know of.

If u don’t need something so feature rich, I like how organic map looks. Also, try the other map styles in osmand, maybe you will like one of them.
A number of the recent policy improvements were prompted by the findings of the external review commissioned by the Foundation, but I’d like to clarify this was an assessment of whether the Code of Conduct Committee acted within its scope and authority; not a judicial review…

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2025-05-06/pakistan-says-5-india-planes-shot-down-soldiers-taken-prisoner: This article was written by Kamran Haider and Anup Roy.
My point is, the nationality of the journalists is not indicative of anything. The that article clearly states that it is Pakistan who is claiming such in an interview with Pakistan’s defense minister. There is clearly a lot of yellow journalism out there. But one of the biggest offenders were the godi media during the four day period of conflict (and beyond). Honestly, during that time our government officials and BJP leaders acted with more decorum than news channels.
All in all, listing the name of a few Pakistani journalists working for foreign english dailies doesn’t prove anything. They just gathered all the information out there and presented only those that doesn’t land them in court.
