I’d be more willing to believe it if the second comma was a decimal point.

Mainstream Media no longer has the reach that it used to. Nowadays you’ll have to find your own spaces to discuss whatever you feel like discussing. If you actually feel like learning more about what’s new in the agriculture space, I’m sure there are special interest groups to join locally/regionally where you are. Sadly I don’t think you’ll be able to get the topic to become a global interest - we all need food and most are willing to sacrifice quite a bit to keep the current level of comfort related to how to acquire said food. For the general populace, how the food got to the store is knowledge they’ll have no use for.
My main point is that shit is happening everyday in that space. Electric tractors are becoming a viable option. New feed to lessen livestock farts are used. Ways to lessen expeditures and/or maximize output without increasing pollution are sought everyday.
Why do I get a feeling that OP doesn’t talk much to farmers?
I mean, going skiing costs an arm and a leg to begin with. $10 for a large beer at the mountain doesn’t sound outrageous to me.
Thank god for that. I’ve seldom played a game as unfair as nfspu. The amount of times my car flew out of a corner because the map geometry is totally broken is through the roof. And the AI cars always weigh like dump trucks in collisions.
Who are “they”? The current crisis is not due to Samsung, SK Hynix or Micron having capacity issues. They don’t want to up their production currently as they plan for the AI bubble to burst and sitting on product when that happens will be costly.

41·2 months agoI was incorrect. The problem is E85 has no problem burning down into the tank, where a large pressure increase could make the tank rupture and a large fire break out. Petrol kills the fire if the ratio fule:air becomes too rich, E85 does not.

41·2 months agoI was taught the problem with lockable handles became apparent in the 00’s when E85 became a thing, as it ignites much more easily from static discharge than gasoline or diesel. Maybe I was taught incorrectly, maybe you guys had E85 earlier than us (Sweden).
I’m sure it gets tiring pretty quickly if the age gap is 15+ years.

11·2 months agoFun idea, but pretty soon you’d find it easier to run (internet-)radio through your phone without the DAB middleman.
I second this; Mint is great if you want to set up once and get going.

The image is roughly 10 years old and Annie got her fair share of shit for the saying. Don’t worry, you’re welcome here.

Nice job! I don’t find this particularly dull though. 🫣
