I have 130GB at 70CAD/mo. It was the cheapest plan I could get with data. I don’t need nearly that much. I use between 20-40GB/mo and that’s only because I don’t bother to turn on my WiFi since I know I’ll never reach my limit.

2. Doing satire about blackface in the 00s was about as timely and relevant to issues at the time as making satires about railway tycoons would have been.

The examples of blackface among American politicians as well around that time (and I’m sure continuing) are abundant. It wasn’t just JT, and IASIP was right to call them out on it in the satirical fashion that was relevant at the time. It’s not their fault that some of the audience they reached were idiots that took it as “haha blackface funny” rather than “haha idiots that do blackface seriously are fucking idiots”. We’ve seen through the whole run of their show how some fans have and continue to miss the point that these are assholes and you’re not meant to want to be like them or do the things they do.

How do you propose? Like he needs to have more of a worker/blue-collar vibe?

From what I’ve seen, he’s seemed fairly down-to-earth and I appreciate his passion. However, I know I am his target audience, so I’m genuinely curious as to what you (or anyone else reading this) think would make him more relatable to the common person.

Yeah, I think that’s why the race is so tight. IMO Avi, while not representing unions in the same way that Rob Ashton is doing, is still speaking to a lot of the core of what the NDP was originally. You can have worker solidarity but if you don’t have community support, that doesn’t really work. Avi is calling for the gov to work with community organizers and unions, as well as calling for green alternatives, which I don’t think was a founding principle for the NDP but it is a huge issue that could help unite left leaning voters in Canada.

Me, I’m paying attention. Avi seems like the only true leftist with a shot at winning. Rob is okay but he needs to drop the fossil fuel BS. Heather sucks and is a moderate and will only push the party further center. Tony and Tanille are precious but obviously don’t have a chance.

Proton for email. Tidal for music, though I don’t really support them or love their app so probably won’t be with them for long. Sleep with me podcast, a necessary sleep aid and I just like to support the person.
I subscribe to a couple of different artists/comedians too but that’s mostly because I can afford to and prefer to support people directly.

For streaming: Crave because Canada, and they just earned every penny I’ve ever given them with Heated Rivalry. Just cancelled Netflix, but my partner still pays for Disney though I’m trying to get him to cancel that too. I think those are our only two streaming services.

I’ll be looking for a VPN this year so I can take to the seas again eventually but streaming from free websites is working well so far so I haven’t worried about it too much.

What does paid bitwarden get you? Or do you just do it to support?

Damn I shouldn’t have cancelled mine. They had stopped charging me for a few months for whatever reason and I actually didn’t realize until I went to cancel. I didn’t think I’d be able to get away with it for that long.

Qobuz is good and has the best morals (as far as companies go) for music streaming. Only reason I opted out was because it doesn’t have all the weird indie music I like to listen to but I’m hoping if I wait a year or two that will be better.

If they’re both attractive, I know plenty of people that would go with both.

So mixed feelings about the comic.

On the one hand, I have heard that men’s hormone cycle is approximately like 3 days or something (I haven’t looked into this for a long time so don’t quote me). But it’s something like they experience PMS (hormonally) much more often than women do. On the one part, I get that.

On the other hand, half the reason men feel like they “want to kill someone” is that toxic masculinity has not taught them how to regulate their emotions, and this has little to do with their hormones or body. So, cool dude, maybe get some therapy and then you won’t feel that way.

And on the third hand, the physical consequences of having a uterus/period can be extremely challenging and I don’t think cis men could relate to that on any level. Until you’ve had your body feel like it’s ripping up on the inside on a monthly basis, don’t talk to me.

And then on the fourth hand, also, I PCOS and haven’t had my period in like 3 years due to the birth control I use (and also I just wasn’t getting a period before because PCOS), and it’s great.
