This design and pose are so great! I love the way the overlapping elements really push the depth you can get from this pose. The silhouette is still really nice and clear, and the weight seems well-balanced but not so balanced that the pose feels static. I think the serpentine neck and head pose really add a lot to that sense of motion in the pose. :)

Man, this really reminds me of an artist but I the name’s slipped my mind atm… M.C. Escher? H.R. Giger? Anyway, it’s great to see what your mind is capable of when you don’t have a prompt, for a change! :)
I do like your second one a lot, but this one is nice too. This one feels real tranquil.
