Top bar is the reason I do not use gnome. Not only it is a waste of space, it blocks the bar of maximised windows to go on screen edge where it would have been easier to grab or close.

I am Nepali. I am probably the only Nepali using such obscure platform. And I say it proudly to others. They think I am ninja, and ignore me. 😝
More than six months. And I am going back, just on the way. Then I found there is no one waiting for me 😥

6·vor 4 MonatenLinux mint is the loveliest distro. Apart from desktop shock you will get in Ubuntu coming from windows, it also has some controversial decisions. If you use Debian version of mint (LMDE), it is more stable than Ubuntu, which is already rock solid like pyramid of Giza (cf windows).
No no. Glucose is best for neurons. Fat is prob just a secondary source. The cost (like tax) of using fat us high - more metabolism, more O2 utilisation. And it should be same for all neurons.
BTW brain does have a small amount of glycogen storage, by astrocytes. But energy density, as you said, is less efficient I think.
I did suspect that, being a Physiologist. Such high energy consumer tissue relying solely on glucose would be counterintuitive. However brain cannot consume fat as main source, unlike cardiac tissue.

I argue it IS customer’s fault. To let Samsung be able to enshittify this much and still stand on the market.

People keep praising twm like a hidden secret. I have tried this multiple times without much attraction. I do not understand something. Maybe everyone has 21" screen.

Linux@lemmy.ml•if you use GrapheneOS on a pixel device, is it something you'd recommend for a privacy worried user? How seamless is running it after install?
2·vor 6 MonatenI think nobody here uses RCS. SMS is also old fashioned. I rarely text others to be honest. I ask others to come to signal but people are intoxicated with meta family. And Viber. I think Viber has e2ee enabled by default. Not sure for same if they upload the chat to g drive…

1·vor 6 MonatenDid not even know what RCS is. I would bother the least with this “service”.
And I am aware of the banking apps, this is one reason why I don’t use their “apps”. Internet banking in web browser is the way.
And my country is so aloof from the civilisation that wallet/tap whatever are not even allowed. Blissfully ignorant.
