  • Sadly not entirely. Some were small differences in the size and shape of ramps particularly where they conjoin which is what caused alot of them but even with new, perfect placement it’s still happening. What’s caused them to be greatly minified is a manual fix that checks for major changes in velocity in a direction not expected then adjusts for it server side, resetting your position, momentum, and direction to what was likely your intended route. This is still, frustratingly, not perfect especially with high ping

  • Sadly, yes. I’ve been following a few efforts and everything needs to be rebuilt. What little auto tooling exists creates more issues than it’s worth. This is why we’ve seen cache take so long to recreate.

There have been some, especially smaller, maps remade but once more they’ve got way too many issues to be put into mainline CS yet. This is why we only have had two new maps since the beginning. It takes immense dedication from talented map builders.

Even simple surf maps have been a major pain with ramp bugs being common on even the best, and smallest

Not a clue how you came across your style man but dahm is it a vibe. This is, though well done, one of the least stylized pieces you’ve made but I wanted to say this nonetheless. I love seeing your art on my timeline

You’ve improved quite a bit too over time which is especially noticeable with your latest few pieces. God dahm do we have some interesting artists on the Fediverse

  • I like it. Modern design language is towards muted colours and heavily features grey so the juxtaposition of something made for kids, with colour prevelent, now muted like the chargers does something in my head. With the wiimote we even have the intersection where play met sleek, modern design which is much less playful.

Am I reading into it too much? Ye, but I like it. Seperate to this I do, seperatly, enjoy muted colours and sleek design language common to the mid to late 2010s up to now so I assume that’s part of my enjoyment

  • Ah shit, here’s a use-case, to see exactly what you’ve “undo’d”. I often remember that I had something in one state a while ago, undo until I see it, then have to carefully go back to ensure I return everything I did between the two states.

With this, I save, using, press the binding, and see the diff clear as day.

Now that binding is increadibly useful for me. Indobuae undo-tree but this’d be much more intuitive, atleast for me
