2·4 days agoTony Stark in the comics is definitely less of an asshole than the RDJ movie version, but only by a modicum. Tony Stark is just an asshole period.

2·4 days agoStan Lee was a huge capitalist, no wonder he’d make such a character. I think it’s telling as to the current state of affairs that for the last ten years one of the most popular media characters was a incorrigible bastard billionaire that sold weapons for war.

3·4 days agoYeah, they gave me Amoxicillin luckily. But the Tylenol 3 does fuck all for the pain, although I’d most likely have refused any opiates even if they did offer because I can’t stand the high from them. No, you’re good, I know how dangerous this can be, not a lot of people know that. That’s why I’m hoping I can get in to the dentist soon :/

11·7 days agoTony Stark was always a shit character, the only storyline that was good was Demon in a Bottle. It’s amazing that a B-lister Marvel superhero got so famous.

2·1 month agoDamn, are you using Steam for these? I’d rather avoid installing Steam if I can, but if there’s no way to get ge-proton-10-22 on Lutris, I guess I’d suck it up for RBR at least. If I recall, I tried Disco through the Steam proton layer and it fidn’t work for me even through there (I’m running MXLinux).

2·1 month agoI’ve tried through Wine and Lutris, but neither RBR or Sega Rally 2 worked for me. It sucks, because RBR is my jam, it’s the one game that has tempted me to dual boot Windows (that and Disco Elysium which I have yet to play.

2·1 month agoI’m saddens that when I downloaded this the other day it wouldn’t run on Lutris for me. I don’t dual boot with Windows so I am out of luck. However, it id lead me to just downloading the cdi for Dreamcast and playing it through Retroarch the last few weeks. It’s been a blast, I’ve been playing the hell out of it and it still holds up.

4·2 months agoWonder Woman is by far the best, closely followed by Martian Manhunter. Superman is a great read and I only put it third because Wonder Woman and Martian Manhunter are so damn good.

14·2 months agoDude, they state in one of the previous issues that he’s 6’7" and 320+ pounds, it’s insane. I like Absolute Batman, but in an ironic kind of sense. It’s like a take on old '90s EXTREME comics, but it is so ridiculous it’s good. Not my favorite of the line, but I enjoy it’s outlandisheness.

Yeah, I’ve tried the benzocaine but it only lasts for so long unfortunately :/
